The Mask of Trust

Hey! It's Jonathan Harrison. I know it's been a pretty long time since my last post and I apologize. I was sidetracked with a lot of events. Anyways, this is just a little piece about trust and who your true family is. Hope you guys like it!

Trust has a mask. Trust lies within the people around you, as well as in yourself. The mask, however, is the person them self. To find who you can truly trust the mask must be removed. Looker deeper under the surface. I promise you'll find who the ones you can trust are. The people I trust are my family. Not the family I'm related to, but the people who I know will be there for me no matter what. Those people are not only my family, but also my friends. I looked deeper under the surface and removed the mask of trust. I now know who I can and can't trust. Do you?

Hey guys it's Sabrina Black this weeks piece it's short but dark and suspenseful with the imagery. I hope you guys like it

Ring, ring, ring of bells
Crows squawk of death's arrival
Clouds turn to black smoke
The last of the light dissipates
A life has been stolen

Soul Eater

The human that surpasses god.
To see it, even in thought…
How odd
That I ought
To know of such a being.
How right that I’d see without seeing.
Something so powerful,
Yet born with the same blood.
A child so wonderful;
Not quite a dud.
Oh, how very odd,
The human who surpasses god.

Writing Depressed

A pen’s tip stabs the notebook in front of him. He’s frustrated (far too frustrated). “Why?” he asks. “Why?” he asks again.
Three holes on the page create a triangle of fury. Depression amounts as he continues to stare. But, it’s fury that he can use! Yes, his eyes become wide with excitement. Soon, he’s scribbling down a sentence: “Her eyes captivate; her breath chills.”
For minutes more he stares. Then comes the tears. Watery tears make streaks upon his cheeks prior to the loud thump of the nefarious notebook hitting the wall to his right.
It’s tricked him into thinking again. He’s no defense, and he knows it. All words that the book seems to swallow simply lacking the satisfying meaning that’d once satiated him before. “I’m done,” he states. “I’m fucking done.” He waits.
The solid tick tock of a wall clock fills his ears. Midnight has come, but he can’t stay grounded any longer. So, the notebook laughs on the floor as he heads off toward the door, never to return.

Peace Rings

Hey guys it's Sabrina Black! Sorry it's been a while since I post lately I have been feeling my life is finally at peace. There is no more war and tensions with others or my self. It's a new Journey!

The waters lie still and restless

As the sunset arrives

With its warm colors dancing

Across the mirror

A wooden circle overlooks the water

I step onto its wooden frame

With each step it creaks and moans

Approaching the rail, laying my arms to rest

My thoughts of the future

Gaze into the bright kiss on the water

Another journey has ended

A new one is about to dawn

Peace at last
